Tell me what you are reading these days. That one question is how most of my good evenings begin.

I used to be a journalist. Features for small magazines, the kind nobody pays properly for. So I stopped, and about a year ago I started this instead. I'm Tanvi, 32, and I live in Dadar.

I'm an introvert, and I mean it in the real sense. For the first half hour I'm quiet and I listen more than I talk. A glass of wine helps, and by the second one I'm much better company. After a long evening I need a slow morning to myself, and I won't say sorry for that.

Clubs are not my world. A dinner, maybe a film after, and a conversation that goes somewhere, that is my kind of night. I also notice small things and keep them. Mention your sister once and I'll ask about her next time.

Dadar, Matunga and Bandra are all close, and South Bombay is fine too.

Loud men usually find me dull. Quiet ones don't.
